John Talman has always painted!

When he finished working full-time he enrolled at The Ipswich Art School under the guidance of Ken Cuthbert who continues to be a mentor.

John is a member of the Dedham Art Club, The Humberdoucy Group and the Colchester Art Society.  He exhibits widely throughout East Anglia and gives demonstrations on both art and writing.

John paints in a loose, impressionistic style and is keen to create atmosphere. As he is also a writer and likes his pictures to tell stories.
